The Bull on Bell Street has become an important venue in the growing story of FOLC WITHOUT. Situated in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, the pub has provided far more than simply a location for events; it has offered a welcoming and inclusive space where community, culture and conversation can flourish.

Through the generosity of the team at The Bull, FOLC WITHOUT has been able to host a variety of free public events in the courtyard, creating opportunities for local people to come together, discover new experiences and engage with important causes. The venue has supported cancer awareness activities, showcased talented local musicians and performers, and helped raise the profile of community organisations including Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (HAODS).

The Bull has also become a valued partner in our programme of free pre-theatre events, offering audiences a chance to enjoy live entertainment, meet new people and support local artists before attending performances elsewhere in the town. These events have helped strengthen connections between businesses, artists, charities and residents, reflecting the community-focused values shared by both organisations.
