Brakspear Group
A Valued Community Partner
FOLC Without is extremely grateful for the support and encouragement we have received from Brakspear, a long-established, family-owned pub company with more than 200 years of heritage rooted in Henley-on-Thames. Known for its commitment to great hospitality, community engagement and the long-term success of the towns and villages it serves, Brakspear has become an important supporter of our work.
Through the generous use of the courtyard space at The Bull on Bell Street, Brakspear has enabled us to deliver a range of free community events that bring people together through culture, creativity and conversation. These have included cancer awareness initiatives, performances by local musicians, and opportunities to raise the profile of community organisations such as Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (HAODS).
Their support has also allowed us to host a number of free pre-theatre events, helping audiences discover local talent while encouraging greater participation in the arts. By providing a welcoming and accessible space in the heart of Henley, Brakspear has helped us extend our reach and strengthen community connections.
We are sincerely thankful for their continued encouragement and are delighted that they have also offered support for our forthcoming Steel and Canvas auction series. We look forward to developing our relationship further and exploring opportunities to work together in support of the local community for many years to come.
